carried away with tarte..tarte holiday 2012

first blog ever..and what better way to start a blog than with my new baby..

my gift to my self.. i am in fact carried away...

I have to say of all the urban decays and many other holiday gift sets of the world i have to give this a 5!! this lovely set comes in a beautiful purple and gold damask pattern (which i love and my nails unintentionally match lol). it folds with a snap buckle in the front to keep it all together. and it opens up to a large mirror and two side pockets with 8 maracuja lip glosses and a mascara blush and translucent powder on the other side. i put up some fast pictures because this set is a sephora exclusive and will only  be available for a short time..enjoy!! 

 

it comes with a mini Tarte camera lashes...one of the most popular Sephora mascara so far so good give good volume without clumping my lashes..not a holy grail..but good.

   At first glance this blush looks way too light for a medium skin girl like me but once applied it gives a beautiful peachy pink glow.

 never really been a fan of translucent powder such as makeup forever hd and this feels and looks just like like it...might give it a second chance...

 

Here she is in all her glory and hiding behind the big mirror!! this baby deserves its own blog post! with 24 FULL SIZE eye shadows!! Really the only reason why i got this whole set and im loving it!4 matte shadows and the rest shimmery but not chunky shadows ..they are all velvety smooth and most are nicely pigmented...now take it in....ur welcome

 last but not least are these mini maracuja lip glosses..not impressed because on the lips they barely show but they feel nice and minty and moisturizing at least
